My name is Dr. Sophia Crawford- Mapp and I am a parent and a educator and I question my children's school process daily and I wrote this book help help you think about concepts and learn from my errors to ensure your child has a smooth education process. Have you ever wondered if I am doing this school thing right? Should I be doing more for my child? Am I asking too little or too much from my child? Why is school so different? If you have asked yourself this, this book is for you. I have a unique point of view. I am an educator that became a parent so I have two viewpoints to pull from. School was easy to navigate through and work in but that all changed once I had to start thinking about where to send my baby. I started thinking about am I teaching as hard as I want my babies teacher to teach and am I answering all the questions for parents that they know to ask and more based upon what I would ask.
