Kokila and Rukmini Debi met in Kolkata and fell in love. In a thrilling, oft comical display of events and characters, both Kokila and Rukmini Debi are hurled around different scenes, until at long last they re-discover themselves in a different city from where they first met. Sweltering hot, blatantly raw display of carnal desires marks the crescendo of the novella as the lovers meet, making it clear to the reader that romance, love, sex, and desire are all common expressions of bonding in same-sex partnerships. But the reader must wait to see how Kokila negotiates skillfully out of a criminal past to be able to be with Rukmini Debi forever. And this is the real question - will she or won't she?
