This book see's a Christian man Richard, who loses his wife to a mysterious Demon and is left to raise his children alone. He is tasked with helping a family, who are new to the American sores. And inadvertently falls in love with Lisa, one of the daughters of the powerful witch and patriarch of the family Anna. Anna does everything she possibly can to prevent Richard from being happy again with her daughter. This is just one of the hurdles Richard has to overcome. Another being Lisa's racist brothers, who hate the fact that Richard is white more than they hate the man himself. The worst happens when Anna makes a pact with a demon, which enhances her power. Every single day in Richard's life, gets more and more bizarre until he finds the strength to fight and overcome these obstacles. Will the God Richard has faith in help him in overcoming this evil in his life. Or will he just be another fool who thought his beliefs alone were powerful enough to face the evil that the devil himself throws man's way?
