Reseña del libro "Planet Globablob (en Inglés)"
Welcome to Planet Globablob-a strange new world where American values, vices, personalities, and prejudices collide with an entirely different civilization. When a group of ordinary Americans embarks on an experimental journey into another universe, they expect an extraordinary adventure. What they encounter is far more unexpected. After a mysterious transition through space and time, their spacecraft lands on Planet Globablob, a colorful and fascinating world populated by three-eyed, purple-skinned beings with their own cultures, beliefs, traditions, and peculiarities. Stranded far from home, the six travelers must navigate an unfamiliar society while trying to understand the people who have taken them in.But the real adventure begins when the Globablobians encounter the Americans. From the sophisticated streets of Avidea to the strange communities of Blundervast, the visitors introduce ideas and behaviors that challenge the customs of their hosts. Religion, politics, prejudice, sexuality, consumerism, social class, morality, and everyday human absurdities become the subjects of an increasingly chaotic cultural collision. With a colorful cast of eccentric characters-including a literary agent, a demanding publisher, a wealthy couple, and two unconventional purveyors of adult comics-the journey quickly becomes anything but ordinary.Planet Globablob is a provocative and irreverent science-fiction satire that uses an alien world to hold up a humorous mirror to modern society. Filled with bizarre situations, outrageous personalities, social commentary, and unexpected encounters, the novel invites readers to laugh at the absurdities of human behavior while considering how our values might appear to those looking at us from another world. What happens when America meets another universe? The result is pandemonium on Planet Globablob.Published By: Authors Publisher House
