Far more affordable than similar reading and phonics programs, this streamlined book is intended as a student edition, with some resource pages and help pages for teachers, homeschool instructors, and parents. Just a few minutes a day can help remediate or teach a child to read!    Power Up Reading is an 8-step reading skills program with 100 skills practice forms that can be used for remediation or the building of language skills in first-time learners. Choose to practice any or all of the skills below. However, it is suggested to start with the Power Up Alphabet first, and as those skills are mastered, move on to the Power Up Consonants and Power Up Vowels. As students progress, they will become ready for Power Up Blends, Power up Stretchers, and Power Up Sight Words. Finally, they should be able to master the content within Power Up Phrases and Power Up Fluency Passages.
