"El Dr. Orison Swett Marden (1848–1924), escritor y editor estadounidense del siglo XIX y XX, fue pionero en el campo del desarrollo personal y el éxito. Autor de numerosos libros, incluyendo ""Éxito a través del pensamiento"" y ""Cómo encontrar el trabajo y la vida ideales"", inspiró a millones con sus enseñanzas.

Escribió mayormente acerca cómo lograr el éxito en la vida y fundó la revista SUCCESS en 1897. Sus escritos analizan los principios y virtudes de sentido común que contribuyen a una vida exitosa y completa. Muchas de sus ideas se basan en la filosofía del Nuevo Pensamiento.
