Reseña del libro "Radiated Skies (en Inglés)"

Lubbock, Texas, 1955. A mysterious delivery of “heavy water” arrives at Reese Air Force Base, an event that, decades later, would raise questions about what really happened behind the gates of the Air Force base. Almost a year later, an emergency call sends the Reese Air Force Base fire department scrambling. A B-36 Crusader has reported a fire in its center bay and is preparing to make an emergency landing. General John D. Ryan, Commander of the 19th Air Division at Carswell Air Force Base, takes control of the situation and orders one firefighter to approach the aircraft. That firefighter is Walter Cobb. Walter knows the first rule of his job: get the crew to safety, then fight the fire but as he approaches the burning aircraft, the pilot tells him something that changes everything. When it’s over, the pilot swears Walter to secrecy. But Walter does tell one person, his thirteen-year-old son, Neil. Radiated Skies is the result. This work of fiction is based on facts and events as remembered and recounted by Neil Cobb, whose story remains with him to this day.
