أيّ نهاية لروايةٍ تبحث عن بداية؟من هنا، كان يجب أن تنطلق هذه الرواية، لكنّ البداية تأجّلت فيها أكثر من مرّة، والنهاية تقدّمت أكثر من مرّة.هي رواية عن امرأة في خريف العمر، حقّقت أغلى أمانيها في الحياة بعد عِشرة زوجيّة طويلة، تكلّلت بالدفء والعائلة والاستقرار. لكنّ الحلم تمزّق فجأة، وأصبح للواقع صدًى مُجزِع، إذ تعرّضت لحادث خطير لم يُمتها، لكنّه رماها فريسةً للعجز. من على فراشها حيث ترقد، تغيّر المشهد، واكتشفت أنّها لا تعرف المحيطين بها، فاجتاحها الخذلان. ثمّ جاءت الضرّة الجميلة الشابّة التي ضاعفت عجزها، لكنّها أيضًا بثّت في روحها نار العزيمة. ففي النهاية، ليست الحياة سوى حرب مواقع...
