With days to go before Atlantis crowns its new queen, one magical crown jewel is still missing. If it isn't returned in time, the coronation could turn into a scandal the fragile new administration can't afford. Emery Morgan and her ex-god partner, Loki, know exactly why the state comes knocking: when those in power can't touch the suspect, they send the assets no one minds losing if necessary.
