Siddharth was born in the beautiful city of love that is Agra known for its world famous Taj Mahal, and I have a special regard for art. He had schooling from Radhaballabh Inter College Agra, and achieved a B.tech from Hindustan College of Science and Technology, Mathura. He started painting in his college days as a pencil artist and organized exhibitions at the technical and cultural festivals of colleges. There, people gave him very encouraging feedback and then he moved to painting in colour. His life as a painter is very much moulded by his journey from the beautiful city Agra to the heritage rich city of Kolkata. There he was influenced by the aesthetic values of the Bengali people and this added a new dimension to my work. He realised that Bengali culture influenced his paintings by its diversity in Durga Puja and by the rainy season that fills his heart with lot of pleasure. Here he presents a monograph of his watercolours, reflecting his journey and love of his native land.
