The author believes poetry is one of the most unappreciated forms of art in modern day. Most won't give it a chance, and those who do are prone to be writing snobs. AKA most publishing company's. In his book the author tries to create "working man's poetry". A form of poetry meant to be put both simply and blunt. A form that is not meant for everyone, but in many ways that's the point. Rhyming because i have to is a great addition to the literary world. that will show future writers that if you want to do something, then do it. life's too short not to.
