In this satirical novel set against a love story backdrop, a visiting Spanish lecturer delves into the depths of the famous university of Oxford and its community. A sense of alienation separates him from the place he has arrived in. A space of doubt prevents him from blending in the mix of eccentric characters roaming the halls of the prestigious university. A whirlwind of conflicting emotions engulfs him. Between questioning, astonishment, rebellion, disgust, joy, shock, and exhilaration, the visitor spends his time contemplating the university town where no one really works, but everyone celebrates the honour of belonging to the place.
