If you like futuristic, sci-fi and counter-culture stories that challenge social norms, you will deeply enjoy this collection. They jab at society and status quo but often in a funny, futuristic or satirical way. A few are delightful dark. It is easy to dive into this collection and the array of stories is a refreshing and entertaining escape! The collection opens on another world with a story that takes place in a tri-galaxy area where humans have been forced to colonize another planet as Earth became uninhabitable. Tukk, a very young scientist, is attempting to save a civilization on a nearby planet, where the plan is to commandeer the world for resource extraction, mining and factory implementation. Strange Patterns of Robocall Algorithms is a short that leads to interesting questions such as: will humans get to a point where they are having intimate relationships with robots and if so, will emotional complexities similar to what they feel toward other humans develop?
