Alarming News 2012: A plague of mutant rats has invaded the upmarket town of Henley-on-Thames. Reports have shown that the super rats have demonstrated resistance against pest controls by means of their genetic mutation! Scientific researchers have revealed that these rats carried a poison-resistant gene while carrying with them numerous life-threatening diseases which can harm both humans and other animal species. Thus, the two popular rat poison which the Britons have been using for 30 whole years have now proved to be ineffective. The pests the brown rats were found to reside both in urban and rural areas. Scientists have also advanced that they are having much difficulty in differentiating between the mutant rats and the non-mutant since they all have the same appearance. However, the scientific experts have stated that there exists stronger poisons that have the capacity to control the super-rats. Yet, the most powerful poison are currently illegal since regulatory body is not sure about its side effects upon wildlife...
