Growing up on Rosecrans Avenue in Compton, five childhood friends navigate school, neighborhood blocks, and long nights on the streets as the world around them begins to change. 

Set during the tense years leading up to the 1992 Los Angeles riots, Rosecrans captures a pivotal moment in the city's history. As gang activity spreads through the neighborhood, the boys are forced to confront the pressures and realities shaping their community and their lives.

Inspired by true events, Rosecrans is a gritty and reflective coming-of-age story about friendship, loyalty, and growing up in a place where the streets can shape the path to adulthood. Rather than glamorizing gang life, the story presents an honest look at the environment young people must navigate as they try to understand the world around them.
