RUPTURES is a contemporary poetry collection about survival, trauma, addiction, and while living with Bipolar Disorder and PTSD.

Written in the raw aftermath of diagnosis, these poems move through mania and depression, obsession and collapse, longing and survival. Ellise's poetry thrives in the liminal- where memory fractures, where addiction becomes both refuge and ruin, where euphoria seems infinite.

It is a desperate woman's attempt to claw, carve, and sear her mark in a world that has continuously denied and forgotten her. It is also a testament to her identity, one that's slowly being torn apart by her disease.
