'RUTHIE AND WILL' is a story about an old couple in their mid 80's who are held up in their car on a road in the middle of the night, by a young punk. Will manages to overpower the 'highwayman' with a move he used as a cop when he was many, many years younger, takes the man's gun and they beat him up between them. Then they find a large duffel bag on the back seat of the man's car. They are astounded when they see what the duffel bag contains and decide to keep it for themselves. Will shoots out the man's car tires and also takes the contents of the man's wallet. Then they leave him lying in the road and continue on their way, but, owing to what the duffel bag contains, to Las Vegas instead of their original destination of L.A. e When they get to Vegas, they find out that their ' highwayman' attacker, doing a job on the side for himself had been a regular courier for a vicious and brutal Vegas gangster, known as 'Bruno, the Butcher', and who was more than a little displeased that his couriered 'package' had gone astray.
