They prayerfully created resources that bring people to Christ and make disciples in a small group format, training them to fulfill the Great Commission with oral strategies.Equipping people to share the Gospel--------------------ABOUT THE AUTHORS: Chris Scruggs is the senior pastor of Advent Presbyterian Church in Cordova, Tennessee. Before becoming a pastor, he practiced law in Houston, Texas, leading Bible studies at home, at church, and at work. He earned the following degrees: BA Philosophy from Trinity University, San Antonio; JD from University of Texas Law School at Austin; M.Div. from Union Theological Seminary Richmond, Virginia; and D.Min. from Asbury Theological Seminary Wilmore, Kentucky. Chris is married to Kathy and they have four grown children. He previously authored Centered Living/Centered Leading: The Way of Light and Love and Path of Life. He serves on the board of trustees for The Outreach Foundation.Kathy Scruggs is grateful to have co-authored this project with her husband, Chris, and is thankful for the opportunity to share some "God stories" from her life. She speaks Spanish and Italian and has worked as a teacher and health-care interpreter, finding many opportunities to share the love of Jesus at home and abroad through song, dance, storytelling, and other creative expressions. She holds a BA from The University of Texas at Austin and an MA from University of Memphis. In 2003 she published Español con Señora Scruggs!, a book of songs accompanied by an award-winning CD that she recorded in Spanish. Kathy is an intercessor for World Outreach of the Evangelical Presbyterian Church.
