Reseña del libro "Sarah in Charge (en Inglés)"

A twelve-year-old girl's life is turned upside down when her sharp-tongued and increasingly forgetful grandmother moves in after getting swindled. When her grandma runs off to meet the scammer, she and her best friend (and new crush) follow her to New York City in this middle-grade adventure from the award-winning author of Finding Junie Kim.

Everything in Sarah Cho’s life seems to be changing. Josh, her best friend and number one fan of her Korean fusion recipes, is moving across the country just as Sarah's platonic feelings change into a crush. Then sharp-tongued Grandma Cho moves in after losing her life savings to a scammer. She non-stop criticizes Sarah and keeps running away in between lapses of forgetfulness.

One morning, Grandma Cho disappears: she’s joining her “boyfriend” in New York. Panicked but determined, Sarah sets out for New York City with Josh to find her before Grandma Cho gets lost.

Sarah In Charge follows Sarah on a heartfelt journey—complete with subway detours and too much walking, a smorgasbord of NY dining and above all, the unexpected truths she discovers about family, love, and growing up.
