Rhodes is a native son of Arkansas. He is a twenty-one-year military veteran who now resides in Jacksonville, Arkansas, and is an Assistant Pastor in a local community church. He is also a loving husband and father, and along with his wife Elnora, they have six children and eleven grandchildren. Gene believes that Christians of today have to make a more concerted effort to maintain godly standards that reflect our identity with Christ and not that of the world, and continue to be a beacon of light to a dark world. We must continue to show Christ-like behavior so that others may recognize their loss and reclaim their true identity from Satan through Jesus Christ.
