Sea Eagles and Quiet Hours consists of poetry written about life, love, grief, nature in all her glory and just the ordinary things that happen in the day of an extra ordinary life. My days are filled with love, laughter, nature and family and from them comes the inspiration that flows with my poetry. I have an affinity with nature and the Australian weather and many of my poems are based on fact and the things I see around me in the changing clouds, the beautiful sea, the birds, animals and just quietly being. Many of the latest series of poems have been written after walking on the breakwall at beautiful Harrington on the Mid North Coast of New South Wales, Australia and this wonderful place inspires many words and moods as no two visits are the same. Please enjoy the visions in your mind from the words you read. Poetry has been the background of my life and haunts me often until I can get the words from my mind to the page, it has helped me deal with great joy, great sorrow and all the other emotions of my life. Words and rhythm and rhyme have been the beat behind everything I see and everything I do. In this way I capture the ordinary days in my wonderful life.
