But powers beyond his understanding seek to cause problems for the FrontRunners, including corrupt Secretary of Defense David Grinch, treacherous alien Dugitues and the returned and even more deranged Jeffrey Thompson. As the FrontRunners face off against the combined forces of the covert organization BlackDot and New York's remaining Superheroes, George must take the fight to Dugitues, not realizing his fate is intertwined with that of the entire universe.
