Reseña del libro "Sounds (en Holandés)"

The most famous jazz musicians came to the recording studio of Max Bolleman among them: Art Blakey, Chet Baker, Elvin Jones, McCoy Tyner, Kenny Burrell, Bob Brookmeyer, Freddie Hubbard and Wynton Marsalis Max Bolleman is an unbelievably great recording engineer. Herbie Hancock This man know his sounds Michael Brecker Max is one of the finest engineers I've ever worked with. The sounds he captured on Criss Cross Records are some of my favorite recordings. Christian McBride, bassist for Wynton Marsalis, James Brown, and more. Max did great work paying attention to detail in capturing the sound! Hold onto those drums! Billy Drummond, drummer for Sonny Rollins, Horace Silver and Nat Adderley This book gives a unique look behind the jazz scene, full of colorful and illuminating stories. Bert Vuijsje, published author of books on jazz. I just read the book for the second time, from front to back. Very informative, sometimes revealing and always attractive! It tells the stories of famous jazz musicians, in words of a man who has seen it all. Jeroen de Valk, published author of books about Ben Webster, Chet Baker, and more.
