As communities across Tennessee struggle to rebuild after economic collapse, danger still lurks in the cracks of a fragile new society. When two college students are targeted by traffickers operating in Memphis, Scott and his team launch a high-risk mission into the city's darkened streets to bring them home.

At the same time, disaster strikes closer to home. A violent tornado devastates a nearby town, forcing the remaining members of the team into a race against time to rescue survivors from the wreckage.
