To cope, Emma turns to her love of painting, her book club, and her two terriers. Emma is continually getting her clients out of trouble, but she is too busy and distracted to realize that her own life is not what it could be. Her behavior is becoming increasingly volatile, and she is drinking too much. Worried, her sister gives her an hour with a psychic. This woman tells Emma that her life is due for a complete overhaul.
