Beloved by his students, he served as a professor in three academic departments and retired after serving as the academic vice president of the entire institution. ABOUT THE EDITOR: Michael R. Spradlin, PhD, is the author of The Sons of the 43rd and numerous scholarly articles on church history, missions, and evangelism.
