Yet every choice she makes sends ripples through a galactic power structure still contested after centuries of cold war.

Now Kit must decide what she's willing to risk for autonomy and her friends, not to mention what her future could become if she succeeds. If she fails, the galaxy may lose more than its greatest touring rock band: She's its last hope for a democratic future.
