In addition to terotechnology the book has given a detailed analysis on how to use Life Cycle Costing (LCC) for decision making especially when it comes to procurement of capital equipment. Reliability Engineering together with its sub-topics of reliability, maintainability, availability, safety engineering and maintenance engineering has also been covered in detail. Depreciation and valuation of assets, acquisition of failure data and some definition of some relevant terms have been given.
