Nina is a highly successful travel agent that happens to have access to an all expense paid luxurious vacation to Brazil. Selena has been busy all year long with her small business, being a single mom to twin, and running her multiple events she does yearly. She never has a minute to herself, and the last time she went out it was a disaster so this spontaneous trip has definitely presented itself at the most perfect time considering she was tethering on the edge of a breakdown. But when Selena stepped off the plane it was like that edge expanded infinitely and so did her possibilities. She was excited despite a minor bout of homesickness on the long plane ride to her exotic destination. What lies in store for Selena? Relaxation, fine cuisine, and beautiful scenery including lots of very attractive men with bronzed skin and strong features. One man in particular catches Selena's eye the next morning and that quick she is confronted by her shy personality. She questions herself on her newly found emotions and lack of ability to start a conversation, and instantly comes to the conclusion that its time for a drastic change.More than just a romantic tale, That Man From Ipanema is humorous and heartfelt. A short story about a woman who makes sacrifices to save her life gaining confidence along the way in unfamiliar territory.
