Father Lukas Adamski hears the confession no priest ever wants any part of. A serial killer who has been on a bloody rampage that is converging on Adamski's parish confesses his crimes and hints of more to come if the good father doesn't grant him absolution. The killer accidentally leaves one small and very possibly useless clue that might help police to find him and the priest is left with a dilemma. People Adamski loves are beginning to be killed off and he desperately wants to help stop the carnage. Giving up his small clue would violate one of the most sacred traditions of the church. The priest faces the choice of possibly of being defrocked and excommunicated from the church he loves, or maintaining the sanctity of the confessional and watching more of his parishioners die.
