THE OLDEST STORY

There is a story that is older than any other story. Older than the first Egyptian hieroglyphs to be carved. Older than the first Mesopotamian tablet pressed in clay. Older than the first Greek philosopher to open his mouth to speak. Before any tradition that calls the present world ancient was anything but young.

This story was told around fire in a green world that the current world has forgotten ever existed. The root from which every branch of the human family has grown.

And the people who left, traveling north, east, and eventually to every habitable corner of the globe, carried with them the codes, the knowledge, the moral architecture, and the genetic material that made everything that followed possible.
