The book that you currently hold in your hands is truly something remarkable, and probably unlike anything you have ever seen before. This book represents one small portion of an art project, of sorts, based on the American Flag. Using the American flag as his inspiration, Larry Waitz, the artist behind each and every one of the designs between these pages, created 50 unique flag based designs - one design for each of the 50 states. Each of these 50 designs can be seen as the parent design of each individual chapter, and would serve as the inspiration for each union of sub-designs, which can be seen as the pages of each chapter. The intent behind this project was to honor America and her people, which is why the titles of each chapter in this book are named for the most popular American surnames, and why each union of designs is named for the most popular male and female first names in the country. After being several years in the making, Larry Waitz now believes that this collection is ready for the public eye, and he is excited to finally get the chance to share this collection with you.
