In the forests surrounding Briar Hollow, Texas, something ancient has begun to sing.

At dusk, a strange harmonic tone rolls through the trees, vibrating through bone and soil alike. Rowan and Maeve soon discover the sound is not wind or wildlife-it is a signal. Predators gather along invisible fracture lines carved beneath the earth. Wendigos move with unnatural coordination. Possessed townsfolk stand silently at geometric points in the forest as if placed there by an unseen conductor.

The source of the growing terror is known only as the Thorned Witness, an intelligence buried deep beneath Briar Hollow that builds territory through resonance. Every predator, every fracture, and every human mind it captures becomes another note in a monstrous choir meant to awaken something vast beneath the town.

As Rowan disrupts the harmonic alignment holding the predators together, the creatures scatter-but only long enough to rebuild their perimeter farther outward. The geometry is evolving. The fractures are widening. And the Harvester, a terrifying conduit of the Witness's will, is learning how to reshape the living world itself.

To survive, Rowan and Maeve must break the pattern before Briar Hollow becomes the first body of a growing nightmare.

But the song has already begun.

And the forest is listening.
