The Awareness Theory of Everything (ATE) proposes a minimal, pre-geometric ontology in which awareness-understood strictly as the capacity for distinction-is taken as the sole primitive. From this single axiom, a recursive binary classification architecture (spacelike AND and timelike OR operators acting on id/complement pairs) generates, through finite-depth closure and classification-cost minimization, the essential structures of modern physics: spacetime, the invariant speed of light, quantum phase, the Born rule, gauge symmetries, mass-energy equivalence, and the fine-structure constant.
This February 2026 edition (166 pages) includes a new Appendix H containing a fully executable Python toy model that demonstrates, with no external assumptions:
• Emergence of the Born rule from quadratic stability of Z₄ completion weights
• Emergence of the invariant-speed light-cone from recursive propagation balance
• Numerical derivation of the fine-structure constant α ≈ 1/137.000 directly from the minimal proton classification depth D = 612 and the interaction-budget tolerance mechanism (Appendix E)
The framework is continuous: the same recursive distinction operation that yields particle physics at low depth produces higher-order integrated closure at greater depth, offering a unified ontological ladder from fundamental physics to reflective awareness.
The theory makes explicit, falsifiable predictions regarding finite-depth saturation effects, environmental dependence of constants, and proton stability signatures, several of which are now quantitatively anchored by the computational model.
