Reseña del libro "The Baron Trump Code (en Inglés)"

In 1893, a New York lawyer named Ingersoll Lockwood published a children's adventure novel about a wealthy, precocious boy who lived in a place called Castle Trump and was guided by an older mentor known only as "Don." The book sold modestly, drew a handful of reviews, and was forgotten for more than a century. Then, in the summer of 2017, the internet actually opened it. Donald Trump's youngest son is named Barron Trump. The Baron Trump Code follows the entire strange story from its origin: an anonymous 4chan post made the day after the 2016 election, the viral Twitter photo of July 2017, the Newsweek feature that broke it into the mainstream, the Snopes fact-check that followed within twenty-four hours, and the theory's long afterlife on Reddit and YouTube. It reconstructs the life of Ingersoll Lockwood himself: a New York lawyer, a diplomat who spent four years in Germany, a children's author who died in 1918 without ever being asked to explain his own word choices. It catalogs the nine coincidences the theory is built on - the name, the residence, the mentor, the dog, the underground journey, the 1896 book about a populist outsider swept into the presidency, the Fifth Avenue setting - and shows which seven are genuinely traceable to the source material, and which were quietly added later by retellings. It follows the one thread that is entirely, verifiably true: Nikola Tesla's papers were seized by the U.S. government in 1943, and the engineer assigned to review them was John G. Trump, Donald Trump's uncle. And then it does what almost nobody does with a story like this: it explains why the coincidence feels impossible to dismiss. Apophenia. Confirmation bias. The look-elsewhere effect. The forgotten 1898 novella that "predicted" the Titanic fourteen years before it sank. The final chapter sorts every claim into four honest categories: verified fact, genuinely unresolved, actively undercut by the deeper record, and no supporting evidence whatsoever. By the end you'll know exactly where the fact stops and the myth begins. That line, it turns out, is far more interesting than the myth itself. Book One of The Baron Trump Files.
