The book is assumed to further the goal of a just and equitable society.Women and girls in this present era continue to undergo cultural practices that demean their existence, children continue to experience sufferings that should have otherwise been avoided, and girls continue to be married off to older men enough to be their grandfathers.The Bleeding Society highlights the many sufferings that societies go through in the various parts of the world. It goes deep into analyzing different aspects of human rights violations that otherwise would have been avoided. The book is assumed to further the goal of a just and equitable society.The real life experiences highlighted in this book are a perfect example that life though unfair at times, the clock continues to tick and the responsible institutions charged with the protection of human kind ought to act in haste.
