Ruby, who is taken away from her father in the middle of the night, is subsequently caught up in the middle of her parent's heated squabbles and war torn relationship. Now angry at the world, she is ready to go through whatever she has to just to save her family. But little does she know that the cost of saving them will literally land her in the bowels of hell. Now trapped in the world of the undead, Ruby must pass the test of hell before she can save her family from eminent death and destruction. Ruby is forced to draw upon her youthful intellect to try to survive her battle with the devil. But in order to do this she must rely upon the wisdom of and old witch. In the place of the undead, Ruby must use her powers to save the lives of an innocent family from a fate worse than death, but when she awakens from her sleep she quickly discovers that the awful nightmare, which she had been trying to escape, has only just begun.
