Twenty-three years ago, the Reliquary was declared lost.

The official report was clean, final, and convenient: immediate fatal containment loss, no delayed survivorship, no unanswered questions worth preserving.

But the station is not dead.

When former evacuation-control lieutenant Anika Sorel returns to the Reliquary with postwar legal architect Lucan Valek, they find more than ruins. They find testimony. Civic records. Children's tags. Orchard graves. A damaged witness engine still guarding the names the state tried to bury.

As the station wakes around them, Anika is forced to confront the one thing more dangerous than the official lie: her own missing role in the disaster. Lucan, meanwhile, must face the doctrines he helped write and the quiet violence hidden inside words like mercy, continuity, and containment.

But they are not alone. A recovery force is closing in, determined to control the archive before the Reliquary can speak for itself.
