After a month into their new term of office the Victoria City Council requests that a forensic audit be undertaken of the City's books after the municipal trough has been all but been emptied by Her Worship Mayor Stinky. Mayor Stinky claims to oppose the audit because she sees it as a waste of time and taxpayer's slops. Others claim she opposes the audit because she is likely the swine that ripped the City off. After the audit, Ms. Stinky is charged with everything from theft of over $5,000 worth of slops to money laundering and embezzlement. This in addition, to charges she is already facing for taking liberties with animals in the Beacon Hill Heavy Petting Zoo. This would have not been a major problem but Mayor Stinky is listed in the National Pet-o-file Registry and has no business being within a kilometre of the park or a confined animal. This book is about Ms. Stinky's court case and how in her mind she is an innocent victim being persecuted by the local authorities because she is Esquimalt's biggest sexpot. Reality has never been her strong suit. When Ms. Stinky's ex-husband number eight, who was married to her for three years, was asked how Ms. Stinky was when not gibbled on glue, booze and dope he responded, "how the Hell would I know?"Every Village Needs an Idiot Series celebrates the good fortune we have in Canada to always have strong competition for the position of village idiot in every community. In the series we learn about some of the animals that are the strongest candidates for these positions in Victoria, BC neighbourhoods and adjoining cities. Rayne Fixer, Lily Pad, Nipinator, Miss Kitty, Dips Tick and, other characters show what happens when stupidity, a hoggish lack of manners and no understanding of moral and ethics are combined with a healthy dose of arrogance, grandiosity and self-centredness.
