There are voices, and there are voices. There is a voice that can dampen your faith, and drown your creativity. On the other hand, there is a voice that can build and challenge your potentials. The voice you hear when you wake up in the morning is very important. It can make or mar your day. It also has the potential to shape your day, and even your life and destiny. The voice of God is very powerful. It is foundational, and superior to a million voices of men. When He has not spoken, men can boast and feel they are in charge. Situations too can look complex, hopeless and confusing. However, when He has spoken, men's opinions become secondary if not irrelevant! When the Word of God has come forth, and especially ahead of men's, it will be foolish on your part to let men redefine, confuse, and mess you and your day up! This book "THE FIRST VOICE" will show you the importance of making the hearing and heeding of God's voice a priority. On its pages, you will also learn how to hear and recognize God's voice. Vivid instances of divine leading, as well as how God had gradually been shaping the writer's life and destiny are shared. For sequence and easy understanding, this book has been divided into three parts: Part I forms the biblical or conceptual framework for the main subject matter of the book. In Part II, practical issues on hearing, recognizing and heeding God's voice are looked at. In Part III, deeper issues on the benefits of giving priority attention to God's voice, and related issues are considered.
