As a survivor I have been plunged into the depths of PTSD, depression and the depths of despair that no one wants to talk about. If one word describes this book it would be 'hope.'This book meets a need-the need to break out of the cycle of behaviors that lead us nowhere. In fact, the recognition of the starting point is a clue that we need help and are ready to accept help. May this glimpse into my life be a prescription for the strength to reach out, the strength to become aware of the healing that awaits. God met that need for me and He awaits your request every day.I speak for the silent ones. I speak for those who don't speak for themselves. My inner strength, instilled by God and nurtured by Mom challenged me to do one thing - to get healthy.
