All the families of the Women of AngelFire reunite to help Caroline with the one golden opportunity she was unable to give, but promised to give, in the first book of the series. The Women of AngelFire have a spiritual bond that transcends age, and their ethnic and cultural diversity. For each has accepted the other "as is" and simply loved them. Friends are the family we choose and our bonds with them can only open our hearts more fully, more deeply.
