When John wakes up one morning, he doesn't realize his life is about to change. First, his parents are missing, the TV isn't working, the social apps aren't functioning, and the time doesn't seem to change. But the strangest thing is the silence surrounding him.

On top of that, at the edge of his neighborhood, the grass seems to be covering the street. Was it like that before? He can't quite remember.

It's only when he meets up with his friends at the bus stop that he realizes that their experience mirrors his own.

As they tried to figure out what was happening, they realized the grass was spreading. And as they decide to flee, they fear what lurks in the green.
