Paul Sussman (Beaconsfield, Reino Unido, 1966 – Londres, 2012) fue un novelista, periodista y arqueólogo británico, reconocido por sus thrillers arqueológicos ambientados en Egipto. Estudió Historia en el St. John's College de Cambridge y participó en excavaciones en el Valle de los Reyes, experiencia que influyó notablemente en su obra literaria.

Entre sus novelas más destacadas se encuentran El enigma de Cambises (2002), El guardián de los arcanos (2005), El oasis secreto (2008) y El laberinto de Osiris (2012), esta última publicada póstumamente. Estas obras, traducidas a más de 30 idiomas, combinan misterio, historia y acción, consolidando a Sussman como una figura prominente en la literatura de suspense histórico.
