Medical scientists have brought up evidence showing that the the foetuses yawn in their mother's womb just like any normal human being. The scientific study was carried out on eight female and seven male fetuses from 24 to 36 weeks gestation where the researchers found that yawning declined from 28 weeks and that there was no significant difference in how often boys and girls yawned. Further medical research have underlined that the yawning process of the unborn babies is linked to their gradual growth as well as the development of their brain. In addition to this, researchers have stated that the frequency of yawning in the womb may be linked to the maturing of the brain early in gestation. More importantly, medical experts have made it clear that the process of constant yawning is a vital process for the unborn babies. Scientific researchers, nonetheless, have precised that yawning does not mean that the unborn babies feel sleepy or bored! Instead, the process of yawning indicates that the foetus is healthy and is enjoying a sound development in the womb...
