In the American cultural landscape, especially within the last generation or two, in-depth communication has devolved somewhat. Many of the subtleties and nuances of the written and spoken word have eluded the younger generation. The language has been devalued and its immense power to create an array of possible worlds has been forgotten but speaking and bespelling the world into being according to one's deepest soul imperatives is a skill that can be acquired. We can remember the dis-re-membered world back into being, recalling and reimagining a gleaming and wondrously alive language that is still at the tips of our tongues and fingers.
