Gregory is a spoiled but lonely wealthy man now that his parents are gone and in a last ditch effort to save himself from boredom, he decides to place an ad for a mail order bride. His only requirement other than beauty and youth was musical ability. He missed having music in the house now that his mother was gone. For him, a woman wasn't wife material unless she could play the piano. Brenda was as poor as a church mouse whose only way of making money to support herself was playing the piano. When she almost dies in the car explosion that killed her parents, she knows she needs to do something drastic, so she files some paperwork listing herself as a mail order bride. What her new husband doesn't know is that she lost her hearing in the explosion that almost took her life. She still knows how to play the piano and she can sing, but not being able to hear what she's doing, she has no way of knowing how it sounds. When she learns that Gregory wants to hear her play, she gives it a try ... even though she hasn't yet told him that the only reason she knew what he wanted was by reading his lips. A romantic tale of pauper marries prince
