For many summers, young Carlos Reynoso has journeyed north to harvest lemons to finance his medical education in Mexico. The discovery of a dead body in a lemon orchard along with other events and new acquaintances add complexities to his life. He finds himself adrift among the currents of circumstances, challenges, tragedies, and opportunities that present themselves along the way.
