Reseña del libro "The Long Practice (en Inglés)"

What can forty-five years of juggling teach someone about learning? In The Long Practice, Steve Crosby looks back at a lifetime spent dropping, practicing, teaching, performing, returning, and beginning again. From teaching himself to juggle at twelve from a book to learning from fellow jugglers, teachers, and his own mistakes, he explores the habits that helped difficult skills become approachable. This is not a juggling instruction manual. It is a book about learning through practice: breaking large skills into smaller pieces, using failure as information, knowing when to rest, choosing better tools, learning from other people, protecting curiosity, and becoming willing to be a student again. Whether the thing you want to learn is an instrument, a craft, a movement practice, a language, or something entirely your own, The Long Practice offers one person’s record of how a skill practiced for decades became a way of understanding how we learn.
