The Lucky Dragon is a cozy, grown-up fairy tale set in Minneapolis, Minnesota. In it, 52-year-old Sally Munson is a self-made doormat, sinking under household drudgery and a faltering marriage. She gave up her dreams of classical music stardom so long ago that she's forgotten them. At 35, Nora Wanamaker, thinking that she has finally landed Mr. Right, almost doesn't notice Mr. Wong (first name, D'Wight), when he makes her a perfect order of egg rolls.
